Goodness gracious me!! Five to ten, or even twenty minutes? I suppose I should be grateful that my average render takes very much less time.
"Watching paint dry" comes to mind.
Thanks for confirming that my system is reasonably normal then....and I hope you find something stimulating to do while waiting for your render to finish ;)
