You might take a look at this thread. It's old and it would be interesting to see some updated results with newer processors. The file is still in freestuff so you could start a thread and get folks to post some results. You might want to create a new pz3 with more figures in it to test today's faster systems. Of course, this is just a very basic benchmark but it might give you an idea if your system is decidely slower than something comparable.
