Shrug...when I got a change try vue 4 a few years ago I found that the materials were not as in depth and that object placement was really weird. I like making landscape images and I could not seem to move terrians whereever I wanted. Vue 4 has great outside lighting with little effort but I can achieve the same effect in bryce and its second nature now. If it shows up on a mag I'll snag it but I want HDRI for some poser renders so I'm getting Shade(cause I want to model too), even with P5 I can get good results But for landscapes I'll stick to bryce. I like the effort it takes sometimes. Challenges bring out the best in people. But I haven't seen a vue render for a long time that wasn't imported poser stuff.... I asked at daz if we could get a vue 5 sample of a b5, p5 and vue5 rendering the same poser object under 1 light. Vue 5 I might like to give a try but I've not seen any good comparisons.
