HEY - Looks Great! Congrats on an excellent initial post to the gallery! The only thing I would recommend (and - it's hard for me to say anything about anybody else's work...but I've had a couple of beers - so here goes. These are my opinions ONLY) The background looks a bit busy - two ways to get around that: 1. a slightly larger aperture - yes, it's gonna give you less depth of field, but careful alignment of the subject with the focal plane will give you the maximum depth with minimum depth of field. 2: Longer lens from further away - this will knock the background out of focus in a heartbeat....as well as portions of your subject if not careful. To give an idea - I've taken the liberty to play with the image in photoshop - roughly simulates a longer lens or more shallow depth of field.
