And don't use raytraced shadows, it will result in black specks on the skydome. Even replacing the textures with procedural materials doesn't help. These specks often turn up with large scale scenes. Use mapped shadows instead, and make the map size large (2048). Takes a long time to render, but it'll look better.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
