heyas; well, i tried using the sun flare thing. of course, it's in front of the clouds because... well, the clouds are in the sky. so i put on a cloud plane and copied the cirrus cloud material to it. and it sucked! it was all hard-edged and gritty and icky. and the flare doesn't really have rays like that. oh, and i tried messing withe the cloud colours to get the edges golden, but i couldn't seem to do THAT, either. (i did get the water, though, after figuring out how to get the waves to go in the right direction!)
