I think people would be more honest if the rankings were broken up somehow, instead of just one big generic one. I'm sure there are some images that might have a higher rating for the subject, yet poor execution and vice versa. Being able to rate an image on various criteria would allow somebody to fairly say "I like the story and composition, but the lighting and rendering quality are just sub par." without being singled out by saying that in their comments.
