Cyritch, When a file link is updated (usually to correct a URL), the item has to be reapproved and winds up back in "What's New" section. The only alternative is to leave a bunch of broken links in freestuff, so that when you're searching for something, all you get is empty files. One quick and easy way to tell if an item is a repost, is simply to look at the download count. If it has more than a hundred or so downloads and it's still on the first page, then it's pretty much sure to be a repost.
