I know that you can then save that as your default state, by saving it as default.br5 in the Bryce root directory. I can never figure out where the root directory is (duh!), so I've just clicked Launch to previous state' in the Preferences (Edit > Preferences in the top toolbar). That works as well. Edit to add - oops, just found it. When they say 'Bryce root directory' they just mean the Bryce5 folder. I need a brain transplant.
