Pog, I have to agree with Claymor on this one. I have read your link. I have looked through the mentioned artist gallery. Colorful? Yes it is. But that alone doesn't make it attractive to me. All the color in the world will not help jagged edges, twisted and broken poser figures and bad lighting. I guess for me, since I grew up drawing, when I finally got Bryce, I wanted to use it to make images that come to life. Not more flat, 2d style work. Which is what I see in a lot of these mentioned works. To each his own, of course. But I yet to understand the attraction in alot of them. To me, from my eyes, I see quickly thrown together images (not saying that alone makes it bad), that have really no content or meaning or 3D artistic merit. I think for me it goes back to "you get what you put in to it." Putting in 15 mins of work, with no intention of pushing your abilities results in a poor product. Thats just me. And if you notice, the majority of those that vote and rank this stuff great works, usually have a gallery of like works. People here have said there is originality in these works. Yet, I see about 10 artists here all doing the same style.. Maybe I am just to uneducated, or lacking in artistic eye to see the complexities of it??? I guess it could just be me? :-
