Some JPEGS I had never seen before at LEMOG called "FLESH". Just for a test I used one on a terrain as a height map, applied the colored image for the Material.A little post touchup on the edges... Whoa, pretty realistic. This sure ain't Pizza, and I hope you didn't have any before you looked.

Looks like tripe, or sweet breads(calf brain), looking at it isn't the problem, it would be the smell that would trigger a gag response.....=)

I gave someone a piece of my mind once. I wonder if they're using it as a texture too?

Those new Lemog textures are just great. He did an image with them, I think you can find it in his gallery here. Quite impressive collection. S.

Seeing all the interest in these strong textures, heres a quick and dirty Photoshop tut on creating similar textures. With some more imagination Im sure you can come pretty close. Now, whats for dinner? P.S. Almost forgot...Purple and Pink erased layer should be set to Hue mode and opacity set to about 40%.

Wow Quest, its so great to see how to make it. You'll have everyone making gross textures now, lol. And thanks ICM, I'm sufficiently grossed out now. :)

danamo ( ) posted Sat, 04 December 2004 at 7:13 PM

Very cool and en-gross-ing tut,lol!

I thought fleshy stuff would look nice with veins on it so I threw this additional Photoshop tut together. Maybe now we can see some Poser Michael and Vicky insides too! ;D P.S. Image size optimazation to meet sit's size requirements does not do justice to finished image in actual size, please bare with me. Enjoy! :)

Ang25 ( ) posted Sun, 05 December 2004 at 6:53 AM

emmm lovely, now how long before I can safely eat my breakfast this morning. I'm certainly not hungry after seeing this, wonderful addition to the other tut BTW!

Quest ( ) posted Sun, 05 December 2004 at 7:20 AM

LOL...emmmmm...yummy! Sort of reminds me of tonsils...have you had your tonsils removed? After tonsil removal eat plenty of ice-cream and applesauce to ease down the throat...BTW, good morning! ;D

Ang25 ( ) posted Sun, 05 December 2004 at 7:31 AM

LOL I've still got my tonsils. I did have a baby and was extremely upset afterwards when I realized they never showed me the placenta. Oh well.
