The problem is that you end up getting bitchy IMs from people when you make an honest comment. I think that the whole "Hot" 20 process needs to be overhauled, the admins should heed the many suggestions about improving it and do so, that way there is a better defined guideline and usage so that perhaps artists would be more accepting of honest comments rather than raves.
