Is this art? Gee, why don't you ask the meaning of life while you're at it. Its art if you think it is. Does it speak to you? Does it invoke a reaction, an emotion? Does it captivate you, revolt you? If the answer is yes to these questions, then Its art. If the answer is no, then, well question answered. IMHO, this is art. Not my kind of art, but art none-the-less. The artist chose the content, the lighting and the composition. These choices were not random, but deliberate. This may be an editorial depiction of an actual event, but it is not the actual event itself, and therefore is a representation of one's idea and an expression of their imgination. Although I wouldn't hang this on my wall, I kinda like it. Then again, I was in the armoured corps for ten years and have a soft spot for tanks.
