I've been trying this for some time. Multi replicating often leaves unsighly patterns. If you search for my name in the Carrara forum, you can see my progress trying to do this with Physics! I'd like to fill a scene with a few mounds of it, but my 700MHz ATX could'nt cut the mustard. I'm afraid it's actually real tuff to do much of that with any desktop.
