Carolly: I have already considered most of the points you mentioned.

Yes I am trying to come up with a theme... the one I had in mind was Elf Town... but... the buildings will be quite versatile. Take away the snow, icicles and crismouse trees... replace them with sand and cactuses, cacti... errr... prickly plants... and different textures and you have a midwest type town.

I am planning on doing quite a few more buildings so that street/town scenes can be set up. Add ons... probably freebies, will be telegraph poles/wires, fire hydrants, etc.

I had thought about the theme park type idea as that might give the models a chance after Christmas.

problems are: I am quickly running out of time for the Crismouse theme. Time that should be spent on modelling is being spent on trying to texture them which I find more time consuming.

I can build, but I sure can't paint..!

Pic shows how the models look together... a little imagination and its easy to see how a streetful would look :-)
