I just watched the EXCELLENT "Band of Brothers" series on the History Channel. I would personally rate this series as the BEST WW-II docu-drama ever made. The realism and precise historical details are astonishing! Its even better than "Saving Private Ryan" if you want a more in-depth look at soldiers, combat-- and there are lots of French, Dutch and Belgian village scenes in it- nearly all carefully re-created and shot in the U.K. at an old RAF airfield...
