Subject: Graphics tablets.... Wacom Intuos?

My roommate has a Graphire, I have an Intuos 4x5. Having worked with both, I would have to say that it depends upon your needs. I do fine strokes and washes and such in Photoshop 5.5 and Painter, and Graphire has fewer levels of pressure sensitivity, so it isn't suited to me. Graphire is just fine for working with Poser though. My roommate has Graphire, and he swears by it. Actually, I would like a larger tablet. I used one at my job (I think it was a 6x8), and now that I've quit that job, I really miss using that tablet and CAN tell the difference between it and my 4x5. The huge tablets (12x12, 12x18, etc.) are really meant for engineers, architects, etc. Chaosphaere
