I think you are pretty safe with this sort of thing tv. If photographing this sort of thing was an infringement it would be almost impossible to photograph anything other than landscapes. Press photographers wouldnt be able to shoot reportage shots as there as almost always something in them that is designed by someone. This sort of thing may be covered by a patent which covers the designer from someone else copying the design, and selling it as their own design.
