hi snekkis,i learned 3d stuff with carrara and i want to keep carrara cause it makes a lot of fun,another reason why i have and still use carrara is cause it has a better motion blur and if i want to make something quick than carrara is the better solution.i bought lightwave mainly for character animation cause it has the tools i need for this.
