I'm not into tech specs, but while I was working for Adobe, I had a Mac and PC on my desk. I honestly didn't have a preference. They both had features I liked (the computers that is) but as far as doing anything other than graphics, the PC was my choice for home, just due to software support for aplications and games. Also if you're into building your own, or tweaking parts and peices, it's also easier to find things for PC as far as upgrading video, sound, etc. As far as is one better than the other for graphics, there was a day where the Mac was the ONLY choice for a professional, but modern times, my vote is no, both will do the job just as well. Photoshop works just the same, looks pretty much the same, same tools, functions and everything else either way. I really have to say take a look at what other things you are going to want to do with the computer, and do some shopping to see what software is available to you on both platforms. (And be careul of the inevitable Mac Vs. PC debate. People have their preferences, you'll have to make your own.) :) Happy hunting ~ Rich
