Im running the new corel patch. Thus far, it and winME are in total agreement :) and I love the new mapping options they added...very simple changes, but invaluable. Ive only heard of a few problems with their new patch...mostly Mac stuff..which can be expected since Corel isnt really a "mac" group. I have high hopes for them and B5...especially since the uproar that the first 4.1 patch caused with all the bugs. Based on what the folks say that went to B2000 camp, Im very interested in seeing what they do...just so long as they dont screw it up, I welcome any/all changes. I did finally manage to crash winME with this patch...but it took some effort...I crashed it making the "snow" scene above...see I created that whole forest of trees (all 3d models) and as is standard "snow" practice, I duplicated the whole forest and raised it just a smidge...then I went to applying the transparency maps...I guess it was too much RAM swapping...(I'd have hated to actually save that file to see the size itd have been quite scary ;)) cant wait to get a new computer...one that removes the RAM limitation.. and about the tute, if you had to do all that nudging stuff to make it work properly...should most definitely add that...never make a tute that is misleading, if you have to do something a little tedious, the reader needs to know they have to, otherwise the "unseasoned" will think they are making mistakes, and that is very discouraging to them :) later BT
