Doc, I think I need more caffine for this and possibly some time to focus away from holiday/family stuff. This tut has got my mind spinning though. Being an ex-photographer who had almost 10K invested in studio lighting gear, (and I knew how to use it,) is it possible to build boxes that can simulate a "soft light" box? These are the kind of light that can be used in clusters to give a real complete fill for a subject. Its seen in a lot of commercials these days but was first shown, at least in my memory, by Robert Mapplethorpe in books like "Some Women." Anyway, this type of light has been kind of a holy grail for me to try to duplicate in CGI. I've got to take some time with your tut but duplicating a "soft light" box for me would be step forward in my work. -jay
