You can copy the function that creates the highlight, or the color of the highlight, but actually copying the settings for just the highlight won't work since they use sliders for those. It's like trying to copy a function that you've changed the scales on, you can copy it and paste it in but you still have to manually change the scales since they aren't linked directly to the function being copied. I'll do some quick tests if I have time today and let you know if I find anything different.
