Use "hip" or "body" to separate the figures (and get rid of the IK before moving anything). Example: load female. load dress. remove any and all IK from both figures. Select the hip of the dress (use mouse or menu under the window). The parameter dials for the hip will show trans for x, y, and z at the bottom of the list. do an x-trans of .300 and see if the dress doesn't go floating off to the side. It should. Then you can move it back and do whatever you were going to do to it. Carolly
