Unfortunately, it's not just starfields ... they are just the most obvious. There are issues with textures, shadows, etc. There is also the problem of Rendercows crashing and/or locking up, forcing you to go around to all your machines and restart manually.

Beyond RC, there are still issues with OpenGL (albeit this area has seen MUCH improvement), crashes after adding more than one camera and switching, Object Replace, non-standard axis, etc. And yes, some are expectations ... for example the timeline interface (basically the animation interface) is one of the worst I have ever seen in my life. But that is another chapter in and of itself.

"Simplistic animation" is fairly subjective, but basically I mean importing only the most simple of PZ3 files, basic lighting and simple textures, and linear camera moves, etc. Then there are the render settings ... basically anything that doesn't require multiple CPU's crunching on the render (image size not withstanding) because of the sheer complexity of the scene and render settings.

The Rendcow has gotten better -- it was COMPLETELY useless in Vue 4 -- but even in Pro it is still exhibiting problems, and it is one of the main reasons I wanted to use Vue.

Best,
Tim
