Happy holidays. Hope everyone will be with friends and family. I've been alone during the holidays before and I know it can suck. So read my story of woe. Now that I have a family, with screaming kids and all, I sometimes wish I were alone. I'm exhausted, my wife is sick as a dog, a storm blew through here last night and half my christmas lights are down, some bored teenages trashed my neighbour's nativity scene and some of it ended up on our front yard and my neighbour thinks my kids may have something to do with it. I'd love to wake up one Christmas morning, slap in my favourite DVD and curl up with a warm coffee and baileys, read a book, past out till 4 in the afternoon, order in some take out, play a computer game, do some 3D modeling and climb back into bed round midnight. Ahh, but the joys of parenthood afford me riches beyond... I have no idea how to finish that thought. I dislike this season.
