n-gons? If the windows are 'holes' punch through a single polygon making it have more than four vertices, that might cause the problem. Poser does not really support them (but even CL has released figures with objects that have n-gons - go figure).

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
