Aye, I can't imagine life without a CRT. I'm using a 17" Viewsonic, and far as I can tell it's the best 17" monitor ever made. LCD's and Plasma's don't have the refresh rates I need for (games!), and they are never, EVER going to be as bright as this bastard! Also, LCD's have a native resolution. Meaning, if you get an LCD monitor set at 1280x1024 natively, it has 1280 Liquid Crystals across, and 1024 Crystals vertically. So when you sqitch resolutions, you lose clarity as crystals can only be either on or off, not HALF of a crystal on and half off, and certainly not in thirds. I would go so far as to say that most people with LCD's, Drawbridgep excluded of course, have them for their small footprint and "futuristic" looks... Still, that's just technical BS. Get what looks good, just make sure you get a good deal!
