That's OK, I'm not most people. I would have chosen an LCD even if the PC didn't have one, because I just don't have the space for a CRT. This way, my wife and I can use the same desk, on opposite sides and stare lovingly into each others eyes (when I tear myself away from Bryce that is). Now a technical question. Refresh on an LCD isn't quite the same thing as CRT, right? LCD are on the whole time. As I understand it, CRT pictures are created by a photon gun firing photons at the screen which last a certain amount of time and then the next photon comes along. That's the refresh. But an LCD is on the whole time (which is why you never see the flicker). SO the refresh means something else? Is it the time that it takes for a crystal to update to a new colour when needed? What does it mean? My LCD is set at 75 refresh, which is higher than my last CRT monitor could handle. So that means my LCD is better than my CRT, but that's just 'cause my CRT was crap?
