There are groups on Yahoo and other sites where exchanges are encouraged. Writing.com (link provided) has a free as well as paid memberships available. It's rather important to define what you are looking for. Poetry? Fiction? Nonfiction? Fan Fiction? Are you looking to be published (NEVER, NEVER put on a free website what you would like to eventually publish). If you like the atmosphere of the graphics sites combined with the writing life, sites similar to this one (like [3D Commune](http://www.3dcommune.com/) or [Planit3D](http://www.planit3d.com/), for example, have forums similar to this one.
