Writer's Write has a forum. It's been a while since I've posted there, but the way it used to work was all posts had to be approved by the moderator before they ever actually get posted. As a result sometimes things just fall through the cracks and never show up. The poetry forum seemed to be the most open and responsive one. Writer's Write also has a very nice database of publishers' guidelines you may want to check out. Never entered one, but they look legit - they don't ask for money. Always a good sign. Current contest may appeal to the visual artist that also writes.
