No particle systems in sight i'm afraid. What some of us do is to use other objects (like terrains with special mappings) for effects like that. Or do it in another program and then import the models into Vue. I have done that several times with Cinema 4D and Vue. I as well have used for example trees for splash effects and it didn't looked too bad. I want to continue these experiments and maybe one day i have a collection of effects done this way. Who knows.
