thanks, Jimbo!!! we are doing that "continuous" mode thingy. the problem is we have 2 sonys...both with same prefixes. Kemal's cam records images as DSCxxxx, and my cam records images as DSCxxxx (just the same). so...if kemal takes image # DSC1000, and i take image # DSC1000 (which doesn't have to be at same time, but it still might come up), then we got a problem with overwriting. the other problem is let's say i use half my card. kemal's card is full. i take my card out of cam and give it to him so he can take more pics. ok... kemal's camera counter could have already reached the point to try to overwrite the images which might have the same number already on the card recorded by my camera. make sense? it's confusing to me. so far the best way we can figure out how to deal with this is for kemal to use ReName Master to rename HIS images. maybe that's gonna be the easist solution. perhaps there's a better, easier way without having to rename images but we haven't figured that out yet. thanks for your 2 pounds worth, Jim!!!!!
