this OLED... my husband was telling me they've made one like this about 1 mm. in thickness. he says you roll 'em up...like a sheet of paper, but that these were used for demonstration purposes only.
remember the movie Mission to Mars? They showed a display like this...but in the movie, they didn't actually use a real one. they used some kind of special effects or something.
he says the only company that's used this particular display massively is Kodak in their digital cams. of course, the ones in Kodak digital cams don't roll up...obviously. it was mainly used bcuz it uses extremely low amount of electricity (saves on battery).
