David is part of the V3 grouping. It used to be that the men were one group, and the women were in another. It was originally believed that the different grouping was to facilitate posing, but actually it makes little or no difference. So, with David, the grouping between figures is no longer men vs women, it's just how the mesh was grouped. Part of a project I'm working on now is creating a new version of M3 and the Freak that are grouped like V3/David, and take all the David injections and V3 head injections. As I said before, with each new character released by someone, they get better. Those improvements need to be migrated back to earlier figures. David is a vast improvement over M3, and V3 SAE has options not in the original V3 figure. I want to improve the M3 and Freak figures to the David level (at least as much as I can). You can use V3 heads on David though with Morphmanager. V3 has more faces than anyone else.
