Joint Editor window. This is not always the geometric center since it is set by the creator of the figure for proper bending, scaling, and so on. And the Joint Center is usually at the end of the body part towards the parent, again, not at the true geometric center.
C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the
foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg

For a ring on a finger, it's best to just use visual methods. Put it in place approximately; parent the ring to the joint; then move the finger to various positions and re-adjust the ring's scale and translations until it looks "good enough" at all bends.

I assume this has been asked a hundred times before, but this forum is moving very fast and I can not find the answer in the manual. Question is: how can I find the actual co-ordinates of the centre of a body part, so that I can fit a prop to it by just hammering the coordinates. Reason: I made a nice golden ring prop and I want to put it around P5 Judy's right ring finger. (let's keep it romantic) B.
