Yeah,that works. I was saving up to get one of those micro drives for my next thing,so I can have a 4gb and never need to change out cards. Yeah, I am not for sure,but if the situation you talked about was to happen, I think it would write over it. Since the camera is useing its number system and not going by whats on the card. This would only be a problem if you were near in numbers,but your idea makes it that much simpler. I would recomend a SanDisk one, since they would be best for compatability.
