Or even google for names or known nicknames, person may have a website, which would react. I had an instance like this, a longtime friend I had lost touch with googled for my maiden surname, found my brothers site, He phoned me for an OK and then passed my addy on to said friend, now we are back in touch after an interval of 10 years.
