Heh. I once got bloody fingers from 3d. I was carving a pair of styrofoam heads on an impossible deadline -- used bare fingers to scratch out the shape and wore the flesh right off my fingertips. Yah, I kinda miss working in plasticine, where the "bones" were a frame of soldered coat-hanger wire. You could do some pretty nice cloth effects with tissue paper dipped in watered-down white glue, too.
