In Section 3 of the hair room, there is a button that says "Style Hairs." When you click that button, the Hair Style Tool palette pops up. At first, only one button is enabled ... that is the tool that you select hairs to work on. After that, the remaining tools are active. They are, in top row, Translate (Move), Curl, and Scale on the top row; and Deselect, Translate Hairs In and Out, and Twist on the bottom row.
