No need to weld vertices, the dress is s ingle group and designed to be used as dynamic clothing specifically for the MDP F202 character. A screen capture of the final calculation from the cloth room where you are getting poke through would help. You can attach it as a file to this thread. As you can see from the attached image, the Sleeve Dress can be used in the CLoth Room. We just need to figure out what steps Alpha has missed. Shogakusha
