Not sure if you've answered this already.....but have you tried uninstalling Daz completely, removing the folder as well, defragging and doing general housekeeping as Zhann suggested, then running the computer without installing Daz at all? Why keep re-installing Daz? Also, I'm wondering why you installed DirectX from a disk rather than from online? Also, have you run dxdiag? you might be able to track down the problem that way (Start/Run/ then type in dxdiag)
