Carrara is nice but you can not even start a real comparison: Cinema is so much better than Carrara in all the important things, from rendering time to rendering quality to the power of the animation modules to the bodypaint UV application. Carrara is like a nice Alfa Romeo car but you don't even consider it when you can go around in a Ferrari.
