if the sandals are saved as smart props, and load in propped to her foot, then yes it is possible to make MATS for them. however, if you are using exterior geometry references in the pp2's it makes little difference space wise if you make sveral versions. its only when the geometry is inside the pp2 that multiple versions becomes annoying.
