re: " ... Any suggestions Doc?"

Yes, I have a couple. ;=]

Try this.

  1. Select each object (prop) one at a time.

  2. Use the Grouping Tool to:

  3. Make a "New Group" and name it appropriately, e.g., side panel, roof, etc.

  4. "Add All"

  5. "Assign Material" and use the same name as the group

  6. Exit the Grouping Tool after you have done all the objects

  7. Export all the parts (objects - EXCEPT the door) and CHECK "Include existing groups ..."

  8. Import the (single) object back into Poser.
    (Doc's "glue") ;=]
The imported prop should look exactly like the exported objects, textures and all.

If it's ok, save it as a prop so you can delete the individual pieces. (unless you want to save them separately for some other use)

  1. Position the door where you want it and change it's origin to the side where the door is hinged.
Change xOrigin and (perhaps) zOrigin. The yOrigin should not be important.

  2. Parent the door to the smokehouse and save it as a (compund, i.e. both pieces) prop in your library.

And ...

That's all there is to it! ... Simple, huh? ... ;=]
