There is a post in the DAZ Studio forum over on the DAZ site from a guy who had the DLL errors with DAZ Studio and got a temporary fix from running Dxdiag. He found that if he ran Dxdiag the problem went away until he re-booted. He didn't mention having problems with IE as well, but it might be worth you having a try. Go to the Start menu, select Run, and enter Dxdiag in the "open" box. If this does clear the problems you will have to run it every time you boot up your machine, but at least it may give you a temporary fix and allow to to use it. Might also be worth finding out if there's a local computer club in your area - could be a chance to get to know people who know about computers, which could save you $$$ in the future, and maybe eventually learn enough to do basic maintenance yourself.
