First, Poser is NOT a modeling program. But then again, many marketplace products are not models, but texture sets, created in Photoshop or PSP. Models are made using a variety of modeling programs, and since you have some of the high-end modelers, you're all set on the software side. I use 3D Studio Max 4.26, others use Wings3D, Carrara, Truespace, Anim8tor or Lightwave, each to his/her own preferences and budget. If you want to create models for Poser, there's a book you will definitely need: Secrets of Poser 5 Figure Creation, by B.L. Render. The best book on Poser technical stuff I've ever seen. I sure hope you own all that software legally, there's a zero tolerance policy towards warez on renderosity.
