hmm..there could be other explanations, but I'll be nice..;) from the list above, the only thing you *can't* make models in is Bryce (well you can make them, but they only work in Bryce). Making models is not for the 'new to 3d'..but you can always try. Dr. Geep has a robox tutorial (saw it a few posts down from here, in fact) that explains how you get a model to pose in Poser once it's imported. I use something called Wings 3d (free, but hey, with that lineup, I can't compete..;), which is a good place to start with basic modeling, such as props, etc.
