You can download some free brushes from Freestuff here, and there are a number of them for sale in the Marketplace. As for the Inverse Kinematics thing, under the Figure menu, you will see "Inverse Kinematics. Under that, uncheck everything (right and left legs are usually checked by default) BTW, I fixed your title... :P
