... then I shall comment. It occured to me that having a Hot 20 to showcase Brycean artwork will ALWAYS be corruptible. So, let's toss that factor out... Amount of views? The naked Vicki's win. Amount of comments? The robot-friends win. Amount of votes? Again, goes to the 'bots. Rankings? Again, 'bots. If any of you vote for any of my images, I will personally soil myself. I'd rather be filthy than join the ranks of substandard robots. That said, I mean no offense to the wonderful artists who happen to be there. You know who you are, because you slaved for hours on end to make those scenes. Way I see it at Renderosity the people in here, the Bryce forum, are my greatest critics. I use the gallery solely as a way to market my "artwork". It's got a convenient link setup and I can send to people from anywhere to view my stuff. I sincerely enjoy and respect the praise and criticism on my gallery posts, but I use the "viewings" number mostly to determine what I'm doing right or wrong, both in imagery and presentation. Coincidence that both of my vertical-aspect images are my most popular ones? Maybe. But if I want sincere feedback, I'll bring it to you guys. The opinions (onions?) of the teeming masses mean nothing since it doesn't change my bank account OR my life. I don't care about popularity, and if I need an ego boost regarding my art I'll just toss something new in the forums and see what you people think. If it sucks, it sucks. If it's good, you guys will tell me. And if you don't know who the "good Brycers" are yet, just scroll up. Many of their names are right here on this page.
